Just did an entire days worth of searching all over the internet to see if anyone had compiled XBMC in 10.04 yet. I figured i would post my success here.
so if anyone out there is like me and wanted to know, it works!
Is there any noticeable difference between lucid and karmic? Boot time, resource use etc...
it works fine for me.
looks prettier, dont know about boot times etc.
my htpc is always running so its not an issue.
what version of XBMC are you using? shutdown/suspend does not work with stable. Not sure if mount worked either.
sound is louder in firefox than in xbmc. Perhaps this can be added to the script.
When I have time will enable the remote to control firefox volume and to kill it.
