When playing almost any wmv file I download when I try to forward the movie it jumps to the end of the movie. When I try to play it again xbmc offers to resume from something like 37 hours in on an hour movie. This seems to happen almost exclusively with wmv movies. Now I use boilsoft's video splitter and split the movie from the begging to the end to create a new copy (it's direct stream). This works perfectly but it's a little annoying always having to do this. I can't be the only one to run into this issue. Has anyone found a way to make wmv play these files because they work fine in media player classic, vlc, and mplayer it seems limited to xbmc's player.
