Is it possible to hav multiple pictures of an artist? and if so how?

that's true...and i'm sure one could figure out a hacky workaround to use multiple artist thumbs one way or the other. ;-)
okay... so multiple artist pics are a no go, but multiple fanart is...
in that case can i specify an album to use say 3 fanarts instead of the static 1?
if so how are these saved as? i.e. normal one is fanart.jpg
ps in the options what is fanart short list | fanart long list ?

T! only uses multiple fanart images in the fullscreen visualization window while playing music.
if you enable this feature you'll get an artist slideshow instead of the default visualizations.
(the FAQ has more info on how to configure/enable)
so, multiple fanarts when browsing your albums is not implemented.
the fanart short/long option defines the length of the item list in fanart-view.
