First of all, my apologies if this has been posted already before. Using the search option didnt help for me this time =).

I am using a Windows 7 setup on my Asrock Ion. I am using the local hard drive to run the OS, XBMC and to save all the fanart. All the actual movies/TV series I have are saved on 2 different external HD's.

The problem is after a restart of my Windows 7 system the drive letters of the USB drives sometimes swap. (Disk 1 normally is E:, Disk 2 is F:... After a restart Disk 1 gets F: and Disk 2 gets ESmile As you understand this doesnt help with my library as it searches on a specific drive letter.

Is there any way to make sure Disk 1 always gets assigned to drive letter E: and disk 2 to drive letter F:?

I hope I made myself clear!
Thanks in advance for the help.
