I want to remove *general* and *programs* from the home menu, is there an easy way to do this? Thanks!

System -> Skin settings -> Home -> Hide categories to be precise ...
I click "Hide Categories" and the arrow goes from /\ to V but nothing comes up? And I try to click to scroll down but nothing. Any ideas?
