Hey guys,

I'm using XBMC 9.11 under Gentoo.

My version of Python appears to be irrelevant, you include your own interpreter and libraries.

I have no working YouTube plugin. I've tried many, none work.

I can cite many plugins that don't work that are alleged to "work" as stated by the "working plugins" list.

I love the idea of XBMC, yet time and time again I want my YouTube and TED vids to work, but they don't. The SVN installer always says I'm up to date, and my XBMC is the "prod" version, yet none of my plugins work.

What's going on? Where can I can get a decent list of ACTUAL working plugins with 9.11?

XBMC makes things so easy, yet so impossibly hard.

Created my own ebuild with the options recommended, and most of my plugins now work.

I take it all back and apologise.
