Hi All,

I am new here, and have been reading a bunch of stuff here.

Basically here is what I want I will be setting up.

Windows 7 system with a Blu-Ray Drive

What i want
-connected straight to my tv
-A remote that will run XBMC and also control my BluRay playback
-Maybe also control MCE
-xbmc control of blu-ray play back? is this possible?

I have a PS3 Bluetooth remote that I can use, but I have been reading of many issues with it. Battery life, and having to re-register the remote very often.

If anyone can give me any help and/or advice, that would be great! I am new to this whole HTPC stuff, but I have run MCE through the 360 before, but thats not really true HTPC i guess.
netop as asrock ion 330HT BT should sweets you
Will this suit the need to playback movie images, divx, dvd, bluray etc..?

I was thinking of building a pc myself with the following specs

-Core 2 Duo 2.53
-4 GB RAM
-mobo with integrated Intel HD graphics and hdmi
-1 TB HDD

Just wondering if the CPU power of that Asrock will be enough?
i actually read all my video, sd / hd720 / hd1080 with it and no problem, killa_sample it good too .
How is the remote?

Can you control everything just fine out of the box, or do you have to do any tweaking?
i'm running an ubuntu minimal install + xbmc-live followed a good tutorial here in linux part forum that make you run a script which will configure everythings for you , it just asking question.

the remote is good even out of the box! the first start was with it, no system installed.

i'm on heaven Big Grin
