Hi,

i am using xbmc live installed to an asrock 330 HT.
Everything works fine...besides 24p!

As seen in other threads it is beegin said "just put Option "DynamicTwinView" "false" into the xorg config" and let xbmc match the frame rate.

BUT...

1. i have no xorg.conf. Just an XF86config

2. when i enter that option to that config and reboot...
it is gone after reboot! an XF86Config.backup appers with that setting in it, but it is not used.

I am hoing crazy.

Hopefully anyone can help.

Thnx in advance!
Xbmc live doesn't save settings by default that's why it's gone after a reboot.
You have to edit xorg.conf, search the forums lots of posts about it
Well, he says that he 'installed it' so it would seem obvious that the settings should be stored. He used the Live version but once is installed acts as a normal system, or should. In any case, Id think you need to provide more details...

I also would give Ubuntu 9.10 / XBMC a try. If u want it to load XBMC right away it is doable too.

erhnam's xbmcfreak live is a tweaked build of XBMC Live and includes the 1080p@24Hz tweak by default, you might want to give it a try.
