Is there a workaround to add my itunes library as a source for XBMC ?

i've read that simple DAAP as source doesnt work anymore since itunes7 (?)

or do i just drop in my music folder ?

I would just drop in my music folder. There is a plugin, but it's mac only and it doesn't seem to be working at the moment, according to its thread.
