Hello

I wonder which is the best alternativ, to have XBMC run on Windows 7 or to dualboot With a live XBMC and Windows 7 beside?

Which one is the best for hardware acceleration?
I only watch 720P movies, i do NOT watch 1080P movies becouse my TV isnt Full HD
XBMC (recent builds) works as well on W7 as it does on Linux, so there is no need to dual boot unless you have some other reason to run Linux.

JR
Or some other reason to run Win 7. Wink
I have an Acer Revo 1600 that I've setup with dual boot between Win 7 & XBMC Live installed.

It works great! My biggest reason behind doing dual boot vs. just running it within Win 7 is the boot time. It takes Win 7 far longer to boot than XBMC does, so for my convenience I have it setup that way, especially since I dont keep my Revo running all the time.

Just my .02
so last svn use hardware acclarator ? like boxee does?
It would be helpful to know what hardware you are using. That would allow us to tell you just how much better XBMC would run under Linux (using a straightforward install).
