I cant seem to get CSI (las vegas) to scrape properly it always comes up as CSI:NY even after I used media companion and scraped it properly with that any help would be great. as well as the movie the Girl next door, I think there should be a way to select the proper tv/movie while scraping

Firstly to achieve flawless scraping, you have to make sure the name of the show matches exactly the tvdb entry, if that is the scraper you are using - in the case of CSI (that's not its title on thetvdb it is CSI: Crime Scene Investigation). You'll need to rename, drop the colon and replace with a space like this CSI Crime Scene Investigation and it will scrape fine.
