Crashes. Lots of them. Driving me mad, been happening for months. Throws me back at the terminal and I have to manually restart.

No matter how many times I try and and delete the cache and musicdb this just happens again and again!

Well linux or xbmc does not like that file. I have no idea why.
First remove that file and/or folder and see what happens
If that helps, put it back with a new name. (with only a-z / 0-9 to start with)

It's not just that file, it does it with any file, as soon as I boot.
Also now I'm getting crashes whenever I edit a setting, be it skin or network settings. Here's a log from a second ago:

Ok, sorry. I just checked two loggs and it was the same file.
New suggestion: Go back to the defaul skin. Perhaps you have bad version of Aeon/you might have messed it up.

I've tried aeon65, hitched, and a number of other mods etc. Mainly from SVN. I'm hoping that this is not the issue (as I love aeon, anything ive tried looks terrible on my tv!)
I've got back to Confluence anyway to see if the same issue arises.

I am seeing issues with creating thumbs, I believe it is a permissions error, but I am not sure what the correct permissions should be for the various folders.
I am not seeing the crashes - it might be of interest to se how you fair disabling library settings. If it is a permissions issue for you, maybe that is resulting in the crash
