Hi,

THETVDB fanart issue.

This is really my last resort Smile I've been all over the internet / these forums / the wiki pages.

I've tried a reinstall. I've tried a large number of different yoga positions as well. None of it has helped.

In a nutshell, I can't get fanart to download using the scrapers. I can not figure out why, I can get episode information, and movie information, cast, I can get thumbnails. But no fan art. I've got a pastebin of a debug log of a full rescan. For your approval.

I'm hoping it is something silly I've overlooked. At this stage this is probably the mostly likely! Smile

here is the link to the debug, sorry if I've not cut out enough of the other stuff in there. Didn't want to mess with it too much.
Please help if you can pie for the winner Smile

Hey,

i was wondering too... look here:

all you have to do, is to wait till tomorrow... (i hope)
My issue is TV fanart. Been speaking to a couple of guys on irc and getting some feedback. Some suggesting an error 28 = network error.

Not making too much progress at the moment on it :|
If i remember correctly cURL error 28 is Operation timeout, so network problem is right guess. But it's only from my memory :p
Your log does seem to be full of a lot of error code 28's when it tries to access the web, but there are also places where it successfully scrapes theTVDB's website and pulls back valid XML. However, if you type the address of one of these posters into your browser, you'll see that nothing is returned. E.g. http://thetvdb.com/banners/posters/85040-4.jpg

So I tried going to theTVDB's website, and found that ALL of the images for this show, and some others I tried browsing to, are not appearing. So, this at least appears to be a website problem. I would suggest just waiting and seeing if it rectifies itself.

Not sure what the error 28 problems are though.
