I have installed off of a live usb key. It boots like lightning but I have three problems...I don't have wireless, I can't play files off the DVD-rom, and it won't read off an NTFS formatted drive..

How do I fix these? I've been searching but haven't had much luck. This is my first experience with XBMC installed like this.

2 possibile solution. Manually mount the dvd (this I have tested) or add it directly as source with a special path. I have not tested the latter but guess it has to be done manually in the sources.xml

If you mean internal dirve it reads it fine but you have to mount it in fstab or remove the nomount option in the boot line.
