I'm seeking a way to use an LIRC remote to select a user in GDM / login screen in Ubuntu 10.04. Anyone know if this is possible?
This is for my media PC. I want to be able to select either XBMC or Boxee from the couch via my remote, and setting up 2 users on the GDM with special profiles or sessions or whatever seems like a super clean and pretty way to do it. Only problem is that I can't figure out how to go UP, DOWN and SELECT in the GDM with my remote.
Any ideas? Thanks!
