Full Version: Dual Monitor, XBMC on the wrong screen

After updating my Kubuntu installation, XBMC does this Ugly unwanted lay-out. Before the update, all was fine.

Note, the monitor on the right is "photoshopped" to directly next to the tv.

I want XBMC to start on the right LCD monitor again, in stead of this half-on-the-tv thing.

How can I fix this?
I know it's possible, I've done it before, but I can't find it anymore.
What happens when you press \ because it looks like it's windowed instead of fullscreen.
If I make it full-screen, XBMC stretches itself over both monitors.

I've had this setup for years and now it suddenly goes wrong.
I would set up the displays as separate X screens, that should work ok.
Hey, why didn't I think of that?
That solves it instantly probably.

Hmmm, something for the weekend, lack of time right now. Thnx for the idea.
The only downside is you can't drag windows from one monitor to another.

and mouse&keyboard are locked to XBMC when it goes fullscreen on the other x-screen Sad but else than that it works awesome, tried it yesterday with my notebook's HDMI out
