Thank you for the hard work!
cheers mate :-)
i'll add them to the next release.
Edit: realised my issue was with my build version.
It works fine for me using "logo-downloader-3.0.6" and "xbmc-20110921-6057492"
(thanks for xbmc-send for remote execution without being at home
)

M.
ronie Wrote:both of you, your xbmc build is too old.
it needs xbmc-20110921-6057492 or up.
windows users are out of luck at the moment,
looks like last night's nightly build failed.
Noticed it after i posted. Saw some post popping up from people who couldn't build the Win version. Will try again tomorrow.
Thank anyway
Hi,
I'm using logo-downloader with 23th september's nightly and SMB-mySQL shares and it works as expected with some shows. With some others (like Charlie's Angels 2011) it fails telling that TheTVID isn't found.
Here is the log (it doesn't show anything strange :S)

cheers for the report.
the script currently fails when there are brackets '(' or ')' in the show name.
will fix that in the next version.
Yeah, I realize of that when I tried to get the The Hour banner too. Thanks
How can I tell what version of the script im using? And for that matter, how do i update? Im not seeing this in the enabled addons list.
Thanks

you can either check the xbmc.log or have a look at the addon.xml file of the script.
rbrohman Wrote:And for that matter, how do i update?
it's updated automatically when a new version is released.

read this page for more info on that:

Disregard this post... I'm going about it in a different way to solve my problem.
