Does anyone else have this problem?

The first few seconds of a video plays choppy (~10fps?) then it smooths out to 24fps. This happens will all of my movies, both HD and SD.

I'm using XBMC 9.11, with Ubuntu 10.04

Yes, I know exactly what's causing your problem, as well as the solution!
