I notice there is an itunes visualizer addon in the new XBMC. It doesn't show up in the addons section when in the program, I can see it in the XBMC folder in windows though. Opening the XML file inside shows the OS as OSX, and it mentions using the itunes visualizer from OSX. Is there a way a windows XBMC can run the iTunes visualizer for music?

Also the IMDB scraper addon doesn't seem to work in windows.

If someone provides a patch, yes. I don't see anyone on the team working on it.
