I am running xbmc compiled from post #28 from this thread http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=66650&page=3

and some 1080 videos play great, including
DivXHD video while other H264 dont play well at all in xbmc. I can play these in windows with media player classic almost flawlessly.

I noticed in the screenshot of this forum that "dc:bcm-h264". While mine shows "dc:chd-h264"
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthrea...546&page=3

Is there something I didn't do correctly when compiling xbmc with crystal hd support or do I need to change an option? Will this help me in playing video smoother?

BTW - I have a Dell Mini 9, GMA 950, bcm-70012, Ubuntu 10.04

Thanks!

name change bcm (broadcom) -> chd (crystalhd)

it would be nice to see the MediaInfo output of those that play in media player classic w/chd but have problems in xbmc.
lol, freaking out over a name change...

Ill get them for you, its weird mp4 play fine in media player classic but horrible in xbmc. I actually tried getting mediainfo earlier but didn't know exactly how. say a site with only karmic builds. ill look into it and post back, thanks

Edit
compiling now, may take a while...

Does media player classic use crystalhd ?
I'm really dumb, just got it from a ppa...

This plays almost flawlessly in media player classic, but is really bad in xbmc, like 1fps, but when i check my log crystal didn't have errors and is being used
