Please help me figure this out. I used to run xbmc on Windows, I was running beyondTV and Firefox, mostly. I had created shortcuts on the main xbmc home screen, I think in the config.ini. Worked great, almost seamless app switching.

I'm now running xbmc live (installed) 9.11. I have no plans to go to 10.04, considering almost all my hardware works. I want to integrate a full PVR program, such as mythTV, onto the minimal Linux, doesn't have to be within the xbmc interface, just so long as I can seamlessly switch back and forth. What are the chances of someone, like me, who's pretty bad at linux command line to get this working with my Hauppauge HVR-1950 USB HD tuner?

Secondly, is there a good browser I can use inside of xbmc? If not, what about installing and running Firefox, with the same method described above?

thanks.
