I don't know how to install the skin in xbmc .. I have xbmc rev 31103 installed.
Where should I put the downloaded folder ?

just read around, you're using new version after the addons merge.
plenty of subject are talking about it.
now you have to use the addon folder.
what os and have u downloaded the skin?

Yes that is where EVERYTHING goes now- skins, plugins, scripts...not in the appdata/roaming folder like before.

I dropped the skin folder in addons .. but can't find it in list of skins in xbmc ?!!!? any hint ?

all I had to do is install the skin from a zip file in the addons menu. It will ask you where the zip file is and it does the rest. I didn't have to put into any folder I actually had the zip file in my downloads folder.

It's still in the AppData\Roaming\XBMC though, it just goes in the
addons now instead of
skins.

Huh, I remember awhile back I checked and the addons folder in Appdata was empty now it has some stuff but so does my
C:\Program Files\XBMC\addons...
And my
C:\Program Files\XBMC\addons is where Confluence and most of the stuff seems stored?
The addons in program files are what comes with XBMC just like before but all the user stuff is still in the appdata folder.

After copying the skin to the addons folder and trying to install through addons manager under xbmc, I still can't select this skin.
I'm using windows seven x64.
