Full Version: Odd resolution trouble - XBMC Live installed to Hard Drive

I am trying to figure out how to force a resolution without turning to a larger install. For some reason my installation doesn't recognize the capabilities of the Plasma I'm connected to through the PC video connector. I've hooked the XBMC box up to three other monitors and it picks up the resolution capability just fine (1680x1024 on one, 1024 x 768 on the other). On the Plasma, which supports up t0 1280x1024 at 60.02 natively (and higher with the built in downsampler), XBMC will only show 800x600 or 640x480. I would really rather not add a full blown ubuntu with x to the system, but I would like to force a particular resolution. As I am using the XBMC Live, there is no xorg.conf. Here is my system setup:

XBMC Live 9.11 R26018 (installed to hard drive)

Intel P4 3.2 Dual Core

Nvidia Geforce 8600GT
Nvidia linux drivers 190.53, OpenGL version 3.2.0
PC Sub connector to Panasonic Plasma (Progressive)- Supports up to 1280x1024 at 60.02 Native, higher with internal sampling.
Audio:
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer 7.1 Sound Card SB0770
Digital Optical Out to Denon Receiver
System Settings:
