Hi there,
i've got a remote and wan't to use it with XBMC. After some googlin i got it up and running fine on Lirc. I configured the Lircmap.xml and the keymap.xml. But in XBMC nothing happend on press. The Debug.log tells nothing about a remote or lirc.
With irw every Key runs fine. I changed the Name of the Remote in Lircmap.xml and copied it from /usr/share/xbmc/system to ~/.xbmc/userdata and the keymap.xml from /usr/share/xbmc/system/keymaps/remote.xml to ~/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps/keymap.xml
What i made false?
i didn't use the init.d scripts of lirc instead i start lircd with /etc/rc.local cause i ned some parameters. Could this be an issue?
