It finds them, but as its an animated movie, CP thinks they are too small.

Code:
"The.Secret.of.Kells.2009.LIMITED.720p.BluRay.X264-AMIABLE" is too small to be 720P. 2918.4MB instead of the minimal of 3500MB.
DisposableHero Wrote:How do you guys find movies to add to CP?

Like I'm not up on the soon to be released movies... Where do you guys look?

Is there a way to auto add new movies to CP? Thanks

I use http://www.hd-trailers.net/

You can view the trailer and if you want it then click on the IMDB link and use the GM link to add to CP
i don't know when this started, but now whenever couchpotato renames a movie it searches for the downloaded movie folders title (MoviesDL) instead of the filename. So the town becomes Dawn of Sound How Movies Learned to Talk, The. I'm running it on a mac.
daz1uk Wrote:Ok, I really love CouchPotato but I have one issue that is really getting on my tits, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know that on nzbmatrix I can get the nzb for a particular film i.e. Secret of Kells, but when I put it into couch potato it doesn't process it and acts as though it's not available?

I have had this issue with several films for months and would love to resolve this before I have to bin couch potato. Which I'd rather not do.

To fix this, just go to config, then quality, and change the minimum quality size for 720P as needed.
hi
for some reason couchpotato fails to snatch the searched movie from tpb, i get this in the log:
Code:
17:47:02 INFO  [provider.yarr.sources.tpb] Searching: http://thepiratebay.org/search/The+Social+Network+720p+-brrip+-bdrip/0/7/207
17:47:02 ERROR [provider.yarr.sources.tpb] Failed to open http://thepiratebay.org/search/The+Next+Three+Days+1080p+-brrip+-bdrip/0/7/207.

manually searching for http://thepiratebay.org/search/The+Socia...ip/0/7/207 works fine and presents a torrent to download
please advice
Still a renaming issue.

Is this because the year is not in the filename?
I understand it's difficult to get the renaming right on such files. Smile
Was "Barefoot Bedtime Stories 2" in you CP library?
Love the app, it's working quite well and looks good. But I have a problem with the renaming. Running the latest GIT version.

I want to put my movies in directories, but keep the original filename (so "The Big Lebowski (1998)/The.Big.Lebowski.1998.1080p.HDDVD.x264.PROPER.mkv" for instance). I've set this up in the renaming-section, but apparently it doesn't work - my guess is because I leave the 'File naming' field empty.

What am I doing wrong and is it possible to do what I want?

Use <original> in filename Wink
Thnx. The app could do with some clearer errors (or at least: show an error when leaving a required field empty). Also, is there already some documentation? Because I don't believe the <original> tag is documented anywhere.
RuudBurger, I have been having issues getting several movies with NZBMatrix because the first RSS is usually a German or non-english version. For some reason it seems that if the first choice matches the ignore list the search just stops there rather than trying an additional entry on the RSS. I had a very simple fix: I actually added in a "English Only" check box in the control panel and using the English only param.

For example, your feed request is like this
http://rss.nzbmatrix.com/rss.php?searchi...&subcat=42

Made it use:
http://rss.nzbmatrix.com/rss.php?searchi...&english=1

Doing this it found an additional 12 movies I had waiting.

Its a really easy change and I thought you might want to add it in on the next release. Just adding the check box in the config and then like 2 lines in
/ app / lib / provider / yarr / sources / nzbmatrix.py

I think this method works much better than the "Ignore" method
Thanks, will take a look now, why it stops when an ignored word is found Wink

Just so I am clear, to use this with nzb files, my only option is to use nzbmatrix.com, and to use nzbmatrix.com I have to pay 10 bucks for VIP registration?
you can use nzbs.org or newznab.com as well
I use nzbs.org
