Hi!

I have just loaded my 720p and 1080p movies to my xbmc and I was wondering as to how i would load the .srt subtitles into the movies? Do i need to do anything else other than just renaming the .srt with the same file name as my .mkv?

That should be all.

so long as the name of the movie file is exactly the same as the .srt file it should be fine.

Just try it. Its not really a risky test.

another option could be to just remux them into one file using MKVMerge inside mkvtoolnix
