Full Version: PM3 SD 16:9 only in 9.11?

I have a 5:4 screen (1280x1024). Yesterday I had XBMC 9.04.1 working perfectly on a Linux box with the PM3 skin.

I upgraded to 9.11 and wanted to keep the PM3 SD skin because the HD skins have too small text and icons and I *like* PM3 SD.

What is seriously driving me crazy is since upgrading to 9.11 I cannot get the skin to properly display in 4:3 resolution. It only wants to give me 16x9 so every damn thing looks squashed.

I discovered that if I change the case for the default skin in the skin directory's skin.xml file so it reads "PAL" instead of "pal" (since Linux is case sensitive and the directory is uppercase) then then menus show in 4:3 as they are supposed to, but the icons are still squashed, some letters in text overlap each other, and the overlay menu and progress bar on the video remain squashed.

What am I doing wrong? All I want is it to work in 4:3 as it always used to.
Sad

I should mention that this is PURELY a skin/menu issue, as video works perfectly at the right resolution as I would expect.
