Hey guys,

Now I want to mention I did google/forum search/lurk the hell out of this before actually asking anything.. and yes, first post too.

So I'm using an AIM RC-126 remote and the thread I'm basing most of my information off is http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=61960

The issue I'm having, other than it not working at all, is that it all references lirc 0.8.5 and lirc_mceusb2 which I know has now been integrated into just lirc_mceusb with the release of 0.8.6

My question is, does anyone have this remote working using 0.8.6, and if so, could they pleae paste in their hardware.conf and lircd.conf files.

I've already added the Device ID to lirc_mceusb.c as per https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Instal...%20remotes and I can get irw to run, but it won't pick up any signal at all.

Also, do you know what I should have my receiver/remote set to in the GNOME options if I can bypass manually entering the hardware.conf file?

Any help is severely appreciated.

Cheers.
Did you or anyone else get this working? I have spent all day screwing around with this remote!!
