I've been having some problems with the way xbmc names my music artists. Is there a way to manually change artist names in the aeon skin?
XBMC doesn't name them it simple pulls the info you have tagged in the file.
When I go to the file the artist, album, etc. are all correct, but XBMC puts it under a different artist. What am I doing wrong?

maybe album artist or composer tag in your file is differently. XBMC uses albumartist also....
Check the Band tag. There's a lot of conflicts between Band/Artist tags.
there are multiple fields in the tag that can cause this, artist & album artist are different fields. You might think your tags are right, but they're not. I suggest you Google Tagscanner, it's free and easy to use.
I tag and rename everything using Picard, it relies on Musicbrainz and can find 99% of my music library.
