using the latest svn versions 3xxxx all my movies are showing as 1 mins or 2 mins.

It's not yet supported. It will be minutes only for Dharma.
EDIT: Your movies need rescraping - you probably have invalid .nfo files there if they show up that way.
will it be brought back? and can a skin be modded to display as hrs , mins.

If it's showing up as 1 minute or 2 minutes long then there's issues with your .nfo files is my guess.
If it's showing as 143 minutes etc. then that's how it's intended to be displayed.
Quickest fix if you're using NFO files is to get
EMM and update the Meta Data only.
i know i can use ember to fix the .nfos, but my preference is xHrs, xMins.
Then you'll have to mod whatever skin you're using.
