I must be doing something fundamentally wrong. I can't get the Tetris script to run.

I've installed XBMC Camelot 9.11 (current stable release) and downloaded the Tetris script from http://code.google.com/p/xbmc-scripting/downloads/list, extracting it to %APPDATA%\XBMC\scripts\Tetris. I also tried installing through SVN and got the same results.

I used the default install options and skin and haven't installed any other options or plugins.

When I try to run the script from XBMC's scripts menu, it says "Tetris (Running)" for a few seconds, nothing happens and then it reverts to saying "Testris".

Running XP Professional SP3, IBM Thinkpad T43, ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 1GB RAM

I recall having the same problem with the same version for Linux, on a much more recent intel platform, so I'm certain it's something I'm doing or not doing, rather than a bug.

I've tried searching here but surprisingly couldn't find anyone with the same problem.

Advice appreciated Smile
hi, use this version here for xbmc 9.11 http://passion-xbmc.org/downloads/?sa=se...Jeux/Games

And for xbmc dharma 10.05 download tetris via Passion-XBMC Add-on Repository http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Uno...positories or http://passion-xbmc.org/les-news-de-xbmx...epository/

cheers

Many thanks for the reply. I was unaware of any of those links or customisations. Looking forward to trying out later - will report back!
Brilliant, the passion script for xbmc 9.11 worked like a charm, thank you FrostBox Wink I would never have found that myself, but now you've pointed me in that direction I'll be exploring the passion add-on world further.

I'm still intrigued to know why xbmc and the "official" tetris script wouldn't work together out of the box Huh
