Hello! To begin with i have to excuse for my horrible english.

I am a beginner with linux and Ubuntu and having problem setting up my remote for XBMC. I have ordered this remote: http://www.dustinhome.se/pd_5010462463.aspx?
I have installed lirc and read me to choosing Samsung USB in the configure, because the samsung-chip in Terratec.

I also found this link: http://lirc.sourceforge.net/remotes/terratec/
It seems that my remotes name are Cinergy S2 PCI HD. What to do with that config-file?

I have searched all internet for help, but if I find something that seems right, i cant understand it because my lack of knowledge in ubuntu. My final hope lies on you guys!

And btw. I have a Logitech Harmony 650 that i want to configure to work instead for my TerraTec. How to do that?

Hi Jipo,

The easiest, though not the cheapest, solution would be to buy a Microsoft remote or one of the full compatibles and use that. There are lots of people around who use the Microsoft remote, and the Harmony can emulate a Microsoft remote, which makes it very easy to get working.
