I am new to xbmc and just installed xbmc live 9.11 repack onto an acer revo 1600. When I go to the file manager I cannot see any of the directories where the plugins should be. I keep reading about copying plugins into the .xbmc/plugins/videos directory but can not figure out how to do that since none of these directories show up in the file manager.

In Linux all files and folder staring with a dot is hidden.
To show the file under .xbmc in the file manager you'll have to make a new source pointing to /home/xbmc/.xbmc
