We removed it.

If you really want to access a video by id, just do a search for the id.

Alternatively id say using the extensions for firefox and chrome are better solutions to this scenario
in case I was worrying you with my question, don't. It turns out X11 (under openelec) was killing xbmc and the easiest way to repro was to play many videos in quick succesion, you know, like one does with youtube Smile I also managed to repro the issue with standalone files.

But just some mins ago, my subscriptions and my like's gave 'no results' do I need to fetch log or is this a known problem ?

I just noticed this as well. I also noticed the instead of the usual list of usernames I'm subscribed to the My Subscription page say either "Activity of: username" or "Videos published by: username".

The good news is the "New Subscription Videos" option seems to work.

Since everything was working last night, and I haven't even restarted XBMC let alone changed any scripts or settings, I assume something changed on Youtube's end.

+1 to this Huh
"Activity of: username" or "Videos published by: username"

It looks like "Videos published by: username" are dead channels or ones which haven't been updated since the revamp, although my Khan Academy sub has vanished completely.
I noticed this "Activities of" problem today too, and found a quick fix:

I have the same issue with username published by and recent activity not showing any videos, not related to dead channels though since my subscribed channels are all active and do show new videos.
Having similar problems since yesterday as well. Except I can't even get into the "My Subscriptions" part …

There is a 2.1.4 for Dharma. You are running 2.1.2.
Hi. Hope this is the right place. The YouTube plugin 2.1.4 is not working for me on Dharma. I just get script errors (which appear in the lock as stack traces).

Anyone got any ideas? :-)
