I have acer revo 3610, my aplay is the same as yours. I've also spent quite a while to find the right config for my needs which happen to be the same as yours: HDMI + analog jack simultaneously.
For me the following .asoundrc just works:
XBMC in System->Audio Analog and default.
This configuration works for me in Xbmcfreak LiveCD 10.00 beta3 and (as asound.conf) in the latest OpenELEC.
