I have been trying to find a solution for this for a while now.

I want to use my windows PC with say Media Scout or Media Browser to administer and organize my Movie and TV shows libraries on my XBMC Live ?

All the media its self is stored on a NAS drive.

Is this possible?

Well i use vista and ember media manager to oprganise my metadata for my movies etc on a XBMC live distribution. So yes i would imagine there would be little issue to using Windows 7

Did you get EMM to work for your TV shows too, I cant get the XBMC Plugin to list the TV folder under Ember Source and link it to the one in my XBMC??

XBMC Media Companion is the tool I use. It scrapes from a variety of sources, grabs poster, fanart, actor, and a load of other metadata. There's also a thread for it here.
