long time xbmc-on-xbox user installed on new windows laptop for first time and set to PM3 skin. First issue is that thumbnails take an age to load, like several minutes when there's only about 16 in the current directory.
This i can kinda put up with, as they'll all get cached eventually i hope. Anyway main issue is that Thumnail view shows MASSIVE thumbnails there are only about 6 on screen at one time, what gives? it's running at 1024 and the xbox in thumbnail mode shows 12 in the same part of the screen. I'm not talking about wide-icon mode. All my icons are either square (music) or about 290x400 (video), is it just not scaling them down perhaps? How do I reduce these thumbnails? it's not like i'm looking at the laptop screen from across the room!
edit: solution was to switch to proper PMIII skin, instead of using the HD one. ignore this post :-)
