The issue I am having is that upon reume of my machine, xbmc does not show up (black screen) and I need to use CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to bring the control manager and kill it.
Here is what my configuration and what I have notived so far
Configuration:
Windows 7 x64, no SP
XBMC Dharma beta 1
ATI Radeon 5670, CCC 10.7 (10.8 has a stupid overscan bug and did not help anyway)
HDMI connection to a pre-pro (Integra DTC 9.8)
Panasonic Projector
Harmony remote
I use the Harmony remote to start the 'watch movie' activity which turns on the reciever, the projector then the computer. I have eventghost setup to auto-start and start xbmc. If the computer goes to sleep, I have eventghost catch the resume event and restart xbmc (have a close xbmc action on sleep event). So a pretty standard configuration I think...
The issue:
Like I have mentionned, xbmc starts as a black screen and needs to be killed.
What I have in the log when this happens is:
After terminating the process, if I restart XBMC, it starts properly and this is what I do get in the log:
And the error about the sound is gone.
I have tried to play with delay and such in eventghost but was not successful (wait 10 seconds before starting XBMC). Now I know that if I wait until the pre-pro is fully on (wait ~10 seconds) before starting the computer I won't have the issue. So my guess is that the computer is asking the pre-pro for a config and since it is not fully on, cannot reply or send some incorrect data and screw up everything...
I am posting this though because I am seeing this issue everytime since I have updated XBMC to Dharma beta 1. I have used the Atlantis release and an earlier build of dharma (sometimes mid-august, sorry can't find or remember the version) and I did not have this issue.
I tried to enable debug log yesterday and restart the machine to collect it but this HDMI handshake stuff actually crashed my pre-pro so I had to reset it. By this time, it was way too late so I figured that I should give up for the day.
Any help would be awesomely appreciated.
