I'm running XBMC live 9.11 on a zotac ion a-u, and I wanted to know if there was any benefit to upgrading the ubuntu file system to 10.04, and what are the benefits?. If there are benefits what is the easy way to do it? p.s. I'm a linux noob.
Anyone have an answer? I'm sure there are other people who wonder this too.
I'm a linux noob too but let me explain you will update the "system core", not the file system... the file system will remain EXT3 (I presume)..
A new kernel (the "system core") should bring more compatibility with hardware, less bugs and better optimization..
