I have been reading all the different wikis about skinning, but I'm a bit confused.

I'd like to make the following changes to my skin. I am hoping by getting a little guidance here, I'll be able to make changes down the line.

1. Adding a favorites or playlists button to the main menu. (either video or audio, or both)
2. Adding the Youtube Plugin to the main menu. I can't seem to find how to use the add on other than browsing in File Mode for it.
3. Adding Sort by Airdate or Sort by Recently added to the TV Menu and removing other sorting choices
-or-
3. Removing all the sorting options, and just having it go right into TV Shows.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This confluence mod allows very easy adding of almost any xbmc button/item to the main menu. It certainly allows you to add the playlists item, or any playlist, and also the youtube plugin.

That's all I can help you with, I know nothing about the sorting.
