Hi,
I love XBMC and it is my primary video player.
The only thing that I'm missing is showing two subtitles simultaneously (available in ugly Bsplayer).
I usually watch tv show in a foreign language and would love to be able to show two subtitles (foreign and my native).
I think It would be awesome to have primary(bottom) and secondary(top) subtitles like in Bsplayer.
Is there any way to do it ?

merge2ass.sh works out of the box for me!! The only thing that a do was to erase "bilingual" from the output.

I have the same problem. So, I create my own tool to create dual subtitles for VLC, Kodi and any other video player. It's free : http://www.dualsubtitles.com/ and that work very well : I use it each day !

The tool create an .ASS subtitle files from 2 different .SRT files. This is the only tool I know who create dual subtitle working with Kodi (XMBC).
