Hi,

The only menu option I can see is under Appearance/Skin where I have RSS News Feed set to on, but the Edit option below that is permanently grayed out and cannot be selected.

I just want to change the scrolling news on the home page from XBMC to a BBC headline feed.

Cant find an answer yet to this. Can anyone advise how to do this please?

Thanks
........Application Data\XBMC\userdata\RssFeeds.xml
Edit this File.
add any set\feed you want in this format:

<set id="X">
<feed updateinterval="X">http://X</feed>
</set>

Good luck

there´s also an add-on you can download (I think it´s in the official repo), you can set the rss feed somewhere in the settings then.

Is it not possible to do this within the Aeon65 menu system ? Is there a reason the Edit option described above is grayed out ?

as is said, because the add-on is missing. just download it.
Sorry - misunderstood.

You are absolutely right - just downloaded the RSS plugin and all working now. Great Stuff !
