How do I get to the xbmc area? I just installed dharma 3 and it goes straight to the terminal. Using Linux

Sometimes mine goes to terminal but if I leave it ~ 10 seconds xbmc starts up...
Using a i5 650, H55 mobo, geforce gt 430, HDMI out to receiver.
