I have published a python script that helps me download movie artwork as folder.jpg files for XBMC to display. This is a variation of a program that I wrote for iTunes, but works equally as well using python. The images are sourced from wikipedia and imdb.

It might be more valuable as a script that can run natively in XBMC, but I don't have any experience doing that. Maybe I will write that version one day. In the meantime I hope this script can be of use to other people.
