Hey guys,
I spend the whole sunday to get a quite performant installation on my
AT5ONT-I based PC.
The installation went fine any time. At the point I integrated my MYSQL database the whole XBMC system was getting a poor performance. I also have a Shuttle XS35-GT system running, and also connected to the database... everything is fine with this system. So it isn't a problem with the database itself. I changed the nedwork card ( pluged in an Intel server card), updated to the latest BIOS, installed the latest Nvidia driver, made an installation with Beta 2, 3 and 4 of the live CD. Nothing changed, everytime I got the same poor performance in case I switched to Video, or Movies menu. If I click a movie, it will take at least 20-30 seconds until the movie will start ( it's not because of spinning up the harddrive).
Does anyone have had the same issues and solved the problem?
Any suggestions to get it working?
