Hi,
XBMC seems to have problems with certain transport stream files (DVB-T recordings). It first plays them just fine, but at some point, it just stops playing and returns to the menu. Also fast-forwarding often puts me back to the menu.
I guess that's due to DVB-T signal quality drop-offs, leading to somehow "buggy" recordings. I found some other posts describing this problem, but no solution other than "fix the files". Those recordings are only for one-time-viewing, so there's not much point in reencoding.
vlc can play those files just fine, it simply skips over the problematic parts, so I'm wondering if XBMC could do that too.
Thanks,
Carsten
