Hi Guys,

Noticed in RC1, that my CrystalHD card is no longer being used and my machine is dropping frames like crazy now on HD content.

I can see the card working fine and recognised under windoze device mangler.

thoughts?

ok, i've worked it out... screenshot above should give people a bit of an indication as to what's busted and a tell-tale sign of your crystalHD card being installed and working properly.

i uninstalled the crystal HD driver and this time, i happen to see a setup file, where-as before, i just pointed windows device mangler at the driver directory to install it. So "something" extra happens when using the setup/installer package.

When i went back into the settings --> video --> playback inside of XBMC, i could see there was an option for "allow hardware acceleration (CrystalHD)" which needed to be checked. That definitely was not there before, until i re-ran the driver install using the installer.
