How can I create a launcher to launch Bash?
I've followed the guidelines here
http://www.gwenael.org/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=4#p4 and have these launcher arguments:
Change Application: /bin/bash
Modify Arguments:
Change Thumbs Path: /blah/blah/blah
Change Fanarts Path: /blah/blah/blah
Change Custom Path: /blah/blah/blah
Toggle XBMC into Windowed mode: On
But get this error:
"Remote share
Could not connect to network server"
I don't know why it's trying to connect to a network server, as all storage is local.

I just try on my side but do not obtain any error. In fact I'm obtaining nothing... because... /bin/bash, alone, do nothing.
Could you please send me more information :
- your system setup (linux, XBMC and Advanced Launcher versions)
- your complete xbmc.log file just after the error occurs.
- your complete launchers.xml file to have your exact launcher setup.
Angels, you can help me to solve a problem
it's not a Adv Launcher problem, but you knows XBMC very Well, then if you can help me...
I'm having serious problems with the combination: XBMC + Windows 8 + No$GBA /No$Zoomer Emulator.
If I open the emulator with XBMC opened, the emulator starts to get slower and slower and slower, until it freezes completely. With XBMC closed, this NOT happens , NOT happens with Windows 7 too!
My system is:
Windows 8 64 bits
Intel i5 2500K
gigabyte B75M-D3H
8GB ram DDR3 1333 Mhz Corsair Value (2X4GB)
HD Seagate 1TB Sata 3
HD Seagate 1TB Sata 2
HD Seagate 500GB Sata 2
Western Digital Sata 2 (notebook + USB Case) 320GB
XBMC:
12.2
Ace Skin
Advanced Launcher
thanks for the help!

Of course - Bash is a shell, not a terminal emulator! I'll test this later (watching a movie at the moment : ) Thanks.
hi, since 2.0.5 i have a audio-loop of gui sound. it's gone whenever i quit the game...
xbmc: 12.2
edit: i changed settings in "launcher start options/action on running media" to "play" instead "stop" and it works now...

It was just to indicate that all was corretly working on my system... so must be something else than Advanced Launcher or I miss some information.

So.. it thats mean that No$GBA/No$Zoomer and XBMC cannot run at the same time on your system. The only way to fix this problem is to try to
suspend XBMC or completly
close it when starting No$GBA /No$Zoomer.

Ok... I will check this. I thing I made a mistake on the audio play/stop state test before starting an application. Thank for the feedback.

I have not able to reproduce the problem on my system : no GUI sound audio-loop, and play/stop option do its job on XBMC playing media. The only thing that seems not working correctly it the pause option, which effectively pause the media before starting the application, but restart it once the application is started.
Could you give me more information about your system configuration : mainly your XBMC audio settings and operating system info?

Audio: DirectSound HDMI (Digitial and analog)
Windows 7 x64 sp1
pause and stop produces sound loop, play works fine.
I just updated from like 1.12 to 2.0.5 (newest) (Xbmcbuntu 12.2) and now when exiting the emulators, XBMC is always windowed. How can I resolve this?

I'm actually looking at it. It will be normally fixed in the next version. Except the sound loop, does the pause option working correctly on your side?

no, pause and stop produce sound-loop. no issues in 2.0.4
