Of course, fixing bugs has highest priority.
A small hint for Windows users: Do yourself a favor and switch to Linux (at least for a HTPC), everything's running great with XBMC Live.
hm i found another strange bug while adding and trying alle games to the advanced launcher.
a few games accour a windows error when i launch them via xbmc with the code c000005. this does not happen if i launch them directly from the explorer in wind7 64bit.
i had no trouble with them in the old launcher, for example all LEGO games have this issue.

Thank you for the feedback. I will try to reproduce this error and try to fix it. Actually the command line support for windows is unfortunately not 100% functional. Could you tell me what is a smallest LEGO game (in size) you have problem with?

I cannot extract your zipped file. It seems corrupted. What is your problems with pastebin? You just have to copy/paste the contain of your files?
I can open ROMs correctly in Windows 7 thanks to the new version. But when I close an emulator, I'm brought back to the desktop. XBMC is minimized. Are you aware of this, Angelscry?
Great job on the plugin, it's really come a long way.

I'm actually testing a bunch of emulators under Windows 7 and completing at the same time the
wiki page for Windows support.
Could you tell me which emulators cause you this problem? Maybe I can help you to fix it. Normally minimizing of XBMC is not activated for emulators launchers under Windows.

Nestopia, ZSNES and VirtualBoyAdvanced. Nestopia can't even open ROMs, complains about Direct3D being busy. But Nestopia works perfectly if I open it in Windows.
I also have Project64 1.6, but it's a known problem that we can't open ROMs right now.
Before 0.9, everything but Project64 was working, and XBMC would come back up full screen after quitting a game.
Pastebin keeps giving error, ie keeps saying cannot connect to the page.

I was thinking about it, but
1- don't know how hard it will be to use a xbox 360 controller
2- not sure if I van play NES and SNES.
3 - don't know how hard it us to setup the emulator.
My HTPC in my living room is XBMC LIVE, but my Linux experience is minimal.

I'm using Windows 7 64 bits actually, and with the last Advanced Launcher version I can run correctly Nestopia, ZSNES and Project64 1.6. I do not have already tested VirtualBoyAdvance. You will found information about the emulators configuration for XBMC and advanced launcher under Windows here.
Return me back if you still have problem.
My HTPC used to be on Ubuntu, I used it as a way to learn Linux. Which I did, a bit. But when Dharma beta came out, I decided to switch to Windows. It's just easier.

That's weird, I'm on Windows 7 64 too.
You can even launch ROMs into Project64? I've got my settings set to what the Wiki says, too.
Maybe it's something I've done to the HTPC? All I can think of is that I installed PS3 Media Server, a transcoding program, but I don't see what difference that would make.
I must be missing something really stupid.
First of all thank you Angelscry for the wonderful addon, I've been looking for something like this for a long time.
Do you have any plans to make a better view for the Transparency skin? I've tested it with this skin and although the launcher works - it doesn't look very flash as Transparency is a very fanart focused skin. What tends to happen is that the fanart is displayed full screen as a background, and with 16bit systems and lower the quality of the screenshots when stretched to full screen looks awful.
I notice that a lot of the other skins have views that allow the fanart to display in a small box, which would work perfectly for Transparency if this was an option.
I managed to get around my problem by turning on "Use a fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen". Now XBMC just remains in the background and is never minimized to begin with. Is this option supposed to be on by default? Don't think I've ever turned it on before...
Edit: Even Nestopia works now. But Project64 is still a problem.
