I somehow managed to do this in 9.11 a couple times before but now I'm at an absolute lost after spending over an hour trying to find the answer.

Anyways, want to replace the default font with a unicode font (which I assume the default font is DejaVuSans.ttf) but I don't know where to go to change it.

I cannot modify /usr/share/xbmc/addons/skin.confluence/fonts through WinSCP, permission denied when I try to replace it

and /home/user/.xbmc/addons has no skin folder. I made a new folder in it similar to the one above but it doesn't work.
What I do is add the Confluence Skin as a add-on skin. Yah… just pretend it's a new skin, that you can add from the repository… by going to Settings -> Add-on.

I can then change the fonts in the self added-on Confluence skin.

I hope you know what I mean.
or
sudo chmod 667 /usr/share/xbmc/addons/skin.confluence/fonts
and fill in your password you choose on install
